What we collect
When you enrol in Fit Former Method Level 1 — in person or online — and use the training portal, we collect: your name, email address, mobile number, date of birth, address (including your country if you are outside Australia), and an emergency contact. We also record your course enrolment, payment status (via Stripe), your progress through the course, and the work you submit for assessment: quiz attempts, your participation log, delivery plans, teaching reflection and teaching video.
Why we collect it
We use this information to provide the course and your training portal, to assess your work and issue your certificate, to issue a valid tax invoice, to contact you about your enrolment and your course sessions, and to keep you safe during in-person sessions and to reach someone on your behalf in an emergency (emergency contact).
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details — they are handled directly by Stripe under their own security and privacy terms. At checkout Stripe also collects your billing address, which we keep with your enrolment record to issue your tax invoice, wherever in the world you enrol from.
Website analytics and advertising
Our public pages — the home page, course pages and enrolment pages — use Meta Pixel and Google Analytics to count visits and measure how our advertising performs. These services set cookies and receive details of your visit, such as the pages you view, your browser and device, and your IP address. When you enrol, we also tell Meta about the purchase, with your email address in a scrambled (hashed) form, so it can match the purchase to our ads. None of this runs inside the training portal. You can limit ad tracking in your browser settings and in your Meta and Google account settings.
How we store and protect it
Your information is stored securely and access is restricted to you and authorised Fit Former staff. Your teaching video is stored with our video provider and can be watched only by you and the Fit Former team. We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties except as needed to deliver the course (for example, our payment, email, hosting and video providers).
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by contacting candy@fitformer.com.au. We will action deletion requests except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, tax records).
